Ignore the fools

Some people say it's too hard. I say that Bob is easy-mode. If you lose while playing Bob then well damn, he's just a beefcake you don't even really need strategy or anything with him just hit stuff.

I still haven't figured out what causes the organs to come out (or else I'd have gotten that brain achievement by now, unless it's random in which case fie on you)

Anyway quite enjoyable, look forward to more games in the future, and hopefully expanding the achievement system out to the rest of the NG populace.

Bug report

My hands don't change, they just endlessly cycle. Looks cool, because it makes it look like i have electro-hands or something, but I reckon you'd just want to add something like that and fix the bug instead.

Also the medals and score submission are buggy.

But other than that plenty enjoyable. Can be played indefinitely if you keep using executions over and over again. I think a story mode or something would improve it greatly (and yes I am aware of what a pain in the neck level design for that stuff is) but just throwing that out there.

Also nice.

Similar to the other game you just submitted it seems to be zoomed in by default, and the "game over" screen covers the submit score screen.

Also in this one I would have made the directions more explicit. It was enjoyable, nonetheless.

Nice!

Visually appealing, fun to play. A few hiccups, like the play again screen covering up the submit screen, it starting zoomed in slightly by default, etc. but all in all enjoyable and nice looking.

Very addictive.

Boy this game sure can get you into it. I beat it in one sitting (through persistence)

Whoever did the sprite work did a nice job, I was admiring also how you coded it for them to die differently depending on where they were hit. The destroyable terrain, variable impacts for different weapons...yeah, a lot of tedious coding, I can't even imagine the work that went into it. Very cool. Little details like that really add to a game for me.

There were a couple little things here and there, like how if you reload at any point the ammo left over in the clip is discarded, there are only two alien vendors, etc. but you provided a lot of interesting weapons (the death ray is ridiculous, good grief it just cuts through everything!) and a fairly decent variety of enemies and environments.

If you do a sequel, a couple things I'd probably be interested in seeing:

- Bosses at the end of major zones (instead of just waves of enemies),
- More variation in weapons (I don't see much difference stylistically between the plasmas and the lasers other than color. Perhaps something a little more definite?)
- Upgrades having a visual effect (armor upgrades = cooler looking armor, etc.)
- Perhaps more squadmates?

Anyway, very nice game. Does...um, minijuegos pay very well?

hehe thanks im glad you liked it.

as for the difficulty of creating the game, yes it was hard, especially because i did all the work from scratch... alone. LOL! (yes even the drawings and the music! and the sounds of aliens dying is actually me)

id love to incorporate your ideas in the sequel if ever i get to make one.

A lot of ideas I like apparently didn't get in.

Rioting is an example of an idea that didn't make the cut apparently. Mass panic and people fleeing should definitely be considered as aspects.

Another interesting concept is having it mutate differently in different areas. But then, that would destroy the premise of it being a single conscious mass organism as opposed to a species of separate organisms.

And of course, certain other factors, like if suddenly three billion people are stricken with insanity, the repurcussions would be unimaginable. Perhaps certain effects should take place if, say, a certain percentage of the populace has that condition? Insanity being the example, if 30% of a country is insane, there would be no way that any of the country's lockdowns or curfews would work.

I know it takes a long time to program all these lines of code, and so implementing all this stuff is probably all the more difficult, but I think you've got a good thing going and that any effort put into additional factors, scenarios, and options will be well-rewarded with satisfying gameplay.

Amazing!

Truly well done, and addictive! Haha I wonder how long it'll take other folks to figure out how it works.

It doesn't do justice to the Jonas Bros GREATNESS!

The Jonas brothers are simply terrible. There is nothing of merit that they have ever done, and no good thing can be said about them in good conscience. If you had not included a reference to the aforementioned Jonas Brothers in this flash I would have voted ten.

What you say? I *did* vote ten? Well sir that is a sarcastic ten, a vote of ten designed to imply rather the opposite through irony. I hope you can appreciate that, but it is no doubt lost on someone who could ever speak of the Jonas Brothers in a positive light.
