Well what do you know
I'll be damned, I was mentioned.
Nice work, you should come check out some of our tutorials on drawing and animating clocks, we even have the actionscript for making the clocks portray the correct time.

Whell whaddaya know! A clock, Corpsgrinder Clock! reveiwed this! yeyah! Thanks for the tip on the clocks! I was thinking about doing it myself, but I just wanted to get the movie over and done with. As you know, flash is a long and painful progression. I am now looking in to a Graphics tablet so I can do better work. Thanks for the review!!11

Finish this please
Excellent work, truly. The reflection work on the knife was just incredible. I cannot imagine the work that went (and hopefully will go) into the FBF for this. Definitely worth my 5 vote and many more.
Nice
A little emo but the FBF work was just awesome. Excellent work.
lol emo.. Thanks :)
Very nice
But I doubt you'll do too well trying to get newgrounds viewers to read.
I read Lord of the Flies, and it was an extremely messed up book. I'd say it qualifies as a psychological horror in the same way that Soylent Green and 1984 were, they show the inherent capability for evil in even the most innocent examples of humanity. I liked this flash, despite it being somewhat anime. I don't envy you for how much work you put into this and how little appreciation it's likely to recieve. I'd suggest using different music next time though, that theme is a little stale.
XD Haha, true, I think those that visit Newgrounds aren't the likely ones to pick up books..
And I completely agree with you. I love books that the reader can connect and understand.. on a more lighthearted example, 'A Separate Peace' is another one of my favorites that slightly deals in that subject.
And yes, my friend told me the music was a tad too dramatic.. heh, so I'm not going to use something like it again unless I'm making it a purposefully dramatic satire.
Goddamn it believe it or not but I REVIEWED FAIRLY
This was fucking classic. Anyone who gives this less than a five should be ethnically cleansed.
:)
That was excellent
I think you should have used your previous .fla first though.
Here's your feedback
Generally the use of lines tends not to look very good, so use shading instead. Also, people are not comprised of ovals, so don't draw legs as ovals it looks horrible. Higher framerate definitely in order. The way Lucielle (spelling?) had her arm bent was not natural. The blood moved up and down instead of oozing normally. On the other hand the opening music was excellent and the sound quality superb.
This is the perfect movie
That play button was fantastic, and I totally won
Play button is hot
Very nice actually
Overall this was actually a pretty good flash. There were a couple things that were definite no-no's when it comes to flash animation. First off, the blatant overuse of traced bitmaps in the first scene. Not only is it obviously not something you drew, but it causes significant lag due to Flash having to render all those curves in real time. Second, the horrific gradient raped background in the throne room. Using the default gradients is a very very bad idea, it always looks horrible. However, the parts that you did draw yourself (the curling grass, the flower, the tree trunks and bushes in the forest after those awful traced leaves parted) were actually quite excellent, and those glowing will-o-the wisps were downright badass. That part reminded me very much of Adam Phillips' work in the Bitey cartoons.
I look forward to more of your works. If you have any questions or would like suggestions or feedback email me at necromarxist (at) gmail (dot) com
