One of the best clockday productions this year, extremely well done.

I really like how your approach to flash has fleshed itself out and managed to impress with spurts of downright good animation.

Mozart, Tchaikovsky, AND Beethoven? Come on that's cheating. I really did like your use of Le Lac des Cygnes, I thought it fit wonderfully with the aging scene.

This was a brilliant and beautifully animated flash. I'm a bit ashamed to say I'm glad I didn't have to compete with it this clockday, it truly is a remarkable bit of flash. I really liked the frame by frame portions and how the clock contracted to show fear was very stylish.

You should definitely drop by clockcrew.cc some time, your abilities would definitely be appreciated there.

Not as good as when K3LTRON sang "100 ways to love a cat" and tried to do the whole thing and lost her voice halfway through, but then that would be setting the bar a little high, wouldn't it?

We need to have another flash battle, or maybe a crappy NG style collab like Africa Dudes together. I dunno, something.

Entertaining flash, delightfully awkward. The ending seemed out of place but it didn't matter because I really was just enjoying the character design and use of colors.

Things like this indeed are good ways to practice new things in flash.

One thing I've noticed is when those circular things reach the end they skew oddly as they become flat on their way to the right (but not when transitioning from the left for some reason.) I take it that's in an effort to show perspective? I think you would have done better to go without the skew.

For the loop, I'm sure you hear there's a slight delay. While it's entirely possible that the music isn't looped perfectly I suspect that the filetype you're using is an Mp3. Mp3's don't loop very well in flash, in the future you'll want to try it in WAV format.

Would I also be correct in guessing that the bitmaps used in the foreground for things like the horse are specifically that shape and resolution normally, but that the moving purple background is not? It'll make your life easier and make the flash look better if you export that bitmap at a bit closer to that size so that it doesn't have that weird staticky sparkle of a moving resized bitmap.

As for the horse, I rather like the style. For proportion, the body could be bigger with a more rotund chest and the rump curving upward more towards where the hips would be, and if the hooves are going to be big hooves like that I would proportion it more like a belgian or a clydesdale.

All in all good work, you've got ability, I hope this critique was helpful.

Eh...

The song at the end was almost chuckle-worthy but I found myself particularly cringing during the "oh my gaaaaaaad" part. All the voice acting could have done with a few more takes, maybe getting someone with brutal honesty to tell you how that take sounds beforehand.

Obviously more difficult with the time restraints, I understand of course, but still.

I knew how bad the voice-acting was, but considering I didn't take this animation seriously, I didn't bother trying on the voices, but I can see how I could have crossed the line of not funny "bad" voice-acting. Thanks for the review.

Seems lacking in original content

As far as I can tell you drew one thing, tweened it a bit, and played portal 2 soundbites.

I can appreciate referential humor, but...you're basically not referencing it, you're basically just playing sound clips of it. It's practically plagiarism.
